What to Expect
Most of what I write here will revolve around cybersecurity — specifically the defensive side. Think system monitoring, threat detection, incident response, and the tools and concepts that go along with that world.
Cybersecurity
I’m focused on Blue Team work — the side of security that’s about defense, detection, and response. That means learning how attackers think so I can better understand how to stop them. I’m working toward CompTIA Security+ and BTL1 certifications while building real hands-on experience along the way.
Linux
Linux is at the heart of almost everything I do in tech. It’s the foundation of most servers, security tools, and enterprise environments — so understanding it deeply isn’t optional, it’s essential. I run Linux as my daily driver and I’m constantly digging into how it works under the hood. Expect posts covering everything from command line fundamentals to system administration and security hardening.
Artificial Intelligence
AI is changing everything, and cybersecurity is no exception. Attackers are already using it to craft more convincing phishing campaigns, automate reconnaissance, and find vulnerabilities faster than ever. On the defensive side, AI is being used to detect anomalies, analyze threats at scale, and respond faster than any human could alone. I’m exploring how these tools work, how they’re being used in the real world, and what it means for the future of security.
